The fabulous Tamsen Fadal joined the Emmy Award-winning PIX Morning News cast in March 2008. She can be seen covering the story of the day and delivering her “Totally Tamsen” feature segment giving viewers a firsthand look at new and exciting places, people and events in the Tri-state area. Tamsen resides in Manhattan with her husband Matt Titus, a nationally recognized dating and relationship coach, author and TV personality. Together, they have written a book, ‘“Why Hasn’t He Called?” How Guys Really Think and How to Get the Right One Interested In You’ and ‘“Why Hasn’t He Proposed?” Go From the First Date To Setting the Date’. The two hosted the Lifetime Television dating series, “Matched in Manhattan” and offer valued relationship advice to singles and couples across the country.

Our love story started out as just another rainy night. Matt and I met in Philadelphia at a gym he used to own. I was trying to land a television job in NYC, so I was not really interested in dating or getting tied down. When we would see each other at the gym, around 6 o’clock in the morning during the week, he would always make me laugh. He asked me out a few times, but I was always busy. Finally, he pinned me down to a night that I already had a date. Instead of shying away from me, Matt said okay, I will pick you up from work and walk you to your date. I was in shock, but that night when I walked out the door of my TV station, Matt was standing there with an umbrella, and he walked me to a restaurant where I was meeting someone else. Needless to say, the other guy didn’t stand a chance. I couldn’t wait for my “date” to be over so I could text Matt, and that’s how it all began.
We both moved to New York a few months later, and it’s been amazing ever since. We are as alike as we are different, we have fun together and above everything else, we are friends first. We also work together in our business ‘The Love Consultants’, a dating and relationship coaching service in New York as well as boutique matchmaking. We have co-authored two books together and while we work hard, we like to enjoy ourselves. We love to travel, explore the city and of course meet new people. As relationship experts, we love introducing people to new love and keeping them together. Even though we love the excitement of the city, some of our favorite times are walking through Central Park with our dogs Matsen and Parker. Love is not so easy to define, but when you find it, you know it.

Secret to Happiness:
The key to happiness is not such a secret. I believe it is about allowing each other to grow as needed, keeping the lines of communication open and always being best friends first. Happiness is about being free to be who you are with a partner who embraces that freedom and supports you rather than judge you no matter who you become.
